Pratincoles and coursers

Small Pratincole

Glareolidae is a family unit of wading birds comprising the pratincoles, which have small legs, extended pointed wings and extended split tails, and the coursers, which have extended legs, small wings and extended pointed bills which bend downwards. There are 17 classes worldwide and only 1 classes which occurs in Bangladesh.
